Tudor questions, answered

Who owns Tudor?

Tudor is owned by the Hans Wilsdorf Foundation, which also owns Rolex. Founder Hans Wilsdorf created Tudor to offer Rolex-grade reliability at a lower price.

Is Tudor as good as Rolex?

Tudor shares Rolex's engineering standards and many suppliers but uses its own calibres and simpler finishing. For a tough daily watch it's outstanding value. Rolex holds its resale value better.

Where can I buy Tudor straps?

Genuine Tudor fabric and rubber straps are sold through Tudor retailers. Many of our pre-owned Tudors come with their original spare strap. Check the listing or ask us.

Where can I sell my Tudor watch?

We buy Tudor outright, take trade-ins and broker on consignment. Send photos and the reference through our sell your watch page for an indicative offer within one business day.

Are your watches genuine?

Yes. Every watch is checked by our team before listing: reference and serial, movement, dial, hands, bezel, bracelet and clasp codes, plus any papers. If a watch we sold is ever shown not to be genuine, we refund you in full. See our authenticity guarantee.

What does "full set" mean?

A full set includes the watch with its original box and papers (the warranty card or certificate). A "full collector's set" adds the extras that originally came with it, such as tags, booklets and outer boxes. Full sets make provenance easier to prove and usually resell better.

Do you ship Australia-wide and overseas?

Yes. Delivery is complimentary and fully insured on every watch, Australia-wide and worldwide. Overseas buyers are responsible for any import duties or taxes in their country.

How does Buy Now and payment work?

Click Buy Now and we email you a unique reference number with our bank and PayID details. The watch is reserved for you for 48 hours while funds clear. Always call us to verbally confirm our bank details before transferring. We'll never change them by email.
